It is not about the jumping, though, it is about the training.
For you this has to be a plan where you train the things that are necessary to become a successful jumper. The goal is to become a really good rider, and a really good person. It is great to have all the plans ready like all the gear (jumping poles, boots, etc.) but it is better to have a good system. I am willing to throw money at it but not be successful. So why donβt you get a plan developed and then use the money to train on!
So today as a bonus I am sharing what I consider the best jump roping training plan ever. I have used it myself and seen several other riders do it and they are successful. It is called the βNo Jumping Plan.β It is an off beat plan but a really good tool to help you become a better, faster and safe jumping horse. The plan is to not use the horse for any jumping until he is at least two years old. The first year he only needs to jump a little and then he can move up to jumping a little more.

By using this plan I have been lucky enough to not only have the best training plan ever designed but also train two horses that will be jumping in competition this year. This plan will help you train a horse quickly, safely and correctly. That is the one word that will describe what this plan gets you and a lot of time, too.

I wrote a post about learning to trust your horse. It is about why learning to trust your horse is the best and most efficient way to train a horse. It is about teaching the horse to trust you and helping him learn to trust themselves. This is why you should learn to trust your horse. Even when he does a nice jump, and even when he does a great jump you should not celebrate. In fact you should be sad at yourself for even doing that at all. You and your horse are learning. You should not reward your horse or congratulate him on jumping.
